Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. She was best known as Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting during her time at Preparatory School. In the late 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a number of years before taking on film and television parts. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler appeared in Breaking Bad (2008). She also starred in the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. She also had a role in the show Numbered Day, which is a podcast consisting of four audio dramas. The romance with Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the plot on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise similar to the arc that was Walter White's last years of his life.
